Darío de Regoyos
World Alive

If the Impressionists consummated the world as an iris-flicked shiver, promenading along the universal breeze, then Regoyos wields their vibrational sight like divining rods. He retakes - albeit still softly - the ribbons of perception let flutter by his teachers and steers the world into a painting, rather than vice versa. Painting takes a long time, but perceive the world closely enough and you can use the brush to theurgically weld a moment to the canvas. Add a rainbow (ocean fire), add a train (cloud factory), add mass (blind hymn).
